In terms of working principle, when the medium flows in the specified direction, the pressure difference thrust between the front and back of the valve is greater than the self weight of the valve disc, which lifts and opens the valve disc, allowing the fluid to pass smoothly; When the fluid flows back, the pressure at the outlet suddenly increases, and the valve disc rapidly decreases under the dual action of gravity and reverse pressure difference, tightly fitting with the sealing surface of the valve seat and cutting off the fluid. Its structure is similar to a globe valve, with the valve disc freely lifting and lowering within the guide sleeve, ensuring smooth movement.

The advantages of lift check valves are simple structure, easy installation, and high reliability, which can ensure one-way fluid flow and prevent backflow from causing damage to equipment. However, due to its small valve hole, the pressure loss (pressure drop) when the fluid passes through is relatively large, and a certain vertical space is required to accommodate the lifting and lowering of the valve disc. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the selection and installation: the lift type vertical flap check valve must be installed on a horizontal pipeline, while the lift type horizontal flap check valve should be installed on a vertical pipeline. It is widely used in fields such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, and power engineering, serving as a solid barrier to ensure the safe operation of industrial pipelines.
